  • Fluorocarbon Topcoat ZD3380 is a two-component aliphatic high-solid fluorocarbon topcoat with high crosslinking degree made of tetrafluoro fluorocarbon resin, aliphatic isocyanate curing agent, and high weather resistance pigments.

    The fluorine content is more than 24%.

    Comply with the technical requirements of JT/T 722-2008 for highway and bridge steel structure anticorrosive coating, technical requirements for railway steel bridge protective coating and coating supply TB/T 1527-2001, and cross-linked fluor resin coating HG/T 3792-2014.

    Excellent industrial protection and decorative finish, suitable for steel structures or concrete surfaces in various harsh atmospheric environments, such as large steel structures, bridges, offshore platforms, outer walls of storage tanks, ship superstructures, petrochemical equipment, and engineering machinery Equipment, etc. It is especially suitable for surfaces with extremely high requirements for gloss and color retention.

    Water-based fluorocarbon is also available.

    Application Notes

    1. The specified thinner must be used and applied on the compatible primer or intermediate paint, otherwise, it will affect the product quality.

    2. During the paint preparation process, it is strictly forbidden to contact with water, acid, alkali, alcohol, etc.

    Component B is very easy to react with water and other substances. The packaging barrel of the remaining component B after preparation must be tightly covered.

    3. During the application and drying, and curing period, the relative humidity shall not be greater than 85%.

    4. During the application process, or shortly after the application, the surface is subjected to water vapor condensation and sudden cooling, which will cause the surface to lose gloss, turn white, and deteriorate in quality.

    5. When applications are made by either roller or brush, multiple coats may be required to obtain a complete covering effect, especially for some lead-free bright colours such as yellow, orange, etc.
